Welcome to Little Foggies Playgroup, an inclusive and welcoming playgroup in Felixstowe where children of all abilities can play, explore, learn and grow together. We provide a safe, friendly and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and social skills through play.
Our Playgroups
FOG runs two inclusive playgroups every week, where children of all abilities can play, learn, and grow together. Using a Montessori-inspired approach, our activities encourage children to learn through play, build confidence, and develop social skills. We strongly believe that children who play alongside peers of different abilities from an early age grow up to be more compassionate, understanding, and inclusive members of society. We have a large airy room with lots of space to play in a safe environment resources include: Soft Play area, large garden, large craft area, Sensory Room and car parking.

Our Sensory Room
The Sensory Room at Little Foggies Playgroup is a calm, welcoming space designed to support children’s development through gentle exploration and play. With soft lighting, soothing sounds, and a variety of tactile equipment, the room provides a safe environment where children can relax, focus, and engage their senses at their own pace. Whether it’s enjoying the calming effects of light displays, exploring different textures, or simply taking a quiet moment away from the busier play areas, the sensory room helps to encourage confidence, communication, and wellbeing for every child who visits.
Do I need to book ?
Little Foggies Playgroup offers relaxed, welcoming drop-in sessions for children under 7, with no need to book in advance. Families are invited to join us on Tuesday afternoons from 12–2pm for a fun and social play session, or on Thursdays from 10am–12pm for our dedicated SEN-friendly session, designed to provide a calmer, supportive environment for children with additional needs. Everyone is welcome – just come along, join in the fun, and enjoy a safe and inclusive space for children to play, explore, and make new friends.
Private Hire
Our playgroup and sensory room are also available for private hire, offering a safe, engaging space for parties, small gatherings, or exclusive play sessions. Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration or simply want a relaxed environment for children to play with friends, our facilities provide a welcoming and well-equipped setting. With access to a range of toys, play equipment, and sensory features, private hire gives you the flexibility to enjoy the space at your own pace.
